Red Giant's Keying Suite 11 is a set of three chromakey-related plug-ins that let you remove inconsistent and indistinctive colored backgrounds from an image. It includes Primatte Keyer, Key Correct, and Warp, all compatible with Adobe After Effects and Premiere. Primatte Keyer and Warp are also compatible with Apple Motion, and Primatte Keyer also works with FCP X.
Primatte Keyer, for example, helps you quickly and accurately extract a clean key from green screen and blue screen footage. It allows for automated, one-button key-pulling as well as advanced options for finer control. Using the Hybrid Matte feature, you can generate a clean foreground matte to place against any new background, and enabling the Adjust Light feature will enable you to adjust the background screen color for better key selection. With Primatte Keyer, you can extract transparent objects such as water, smoke, and hair from footage. Additionally, deartifacting tools aid in removing blockiness and artifacts to smooth out the matte edges.
